Seattle Magazine {June issue}

As my time is expiring at Seattle Magazine – I have been doing my best to slow down and just enjoy every shoot/assignment I am given. Just continue to soak up the experiences and be appriative of all the lovely people I have met, places I have discovered, and remain thankful!

Thereafter {weekend getaway/camping}

My favorite adventures are the ones that don’t include any planning or time to think about them!  The weekend after my birthday I gathered with some of my Seattle friends and celebrated with them down by Alki. The next morning, mid-day, Joel asked if I wanted to go to Hurricane Ridge.  Of course my answer was YES!

So, after grabbing brunch we headed back to our house and loaded up the car with camping gear, some food, our pup, and Joel’s guitar.

And the adventure began with a ferry ride.

Due to the fact that we did not plan ahead of time, once we arrived in the Olympic Mountains the sun was setting. So, we drove up for a sneak peak and then headed to set up camp.  We figured we had the whole next day to enjoy the scenery.:-)

Good Morning Sunshine

Thereafter

After saying goodbye to the mountains we headed to Port Angeles to see the sunset over the water.  Absolutely beautiful and beyond peaceful!

Seattle Magazine {May issue}

I am so excited about this month’s issue! Seattle Magazine has a mini face lift.  Getting to work with new faces, and new ideas;-) always stimulates creativity and inspiration.

Also, I got to play with wine bottles, which I have always enjoyed photographing.

If you are interested in learning about Sunny Getaways, I advice you to pick up the May issue and enjoy some beautiful images! But, for now, scroll down and learn about some new hot-spots in the city, and where to grab some yummy food!

8 years {Vancouver}

This weekend I took a trip with my husband to Vancouver, B.C to celebrate our 8 year anniversary together. After we married, we stopped doing something ‘extra special’ for our dating anniversary, but this year we took advantage of our new surroundings and drove to Canada!

It was a weekend jammed packed with great food, long walks, and sight seeing.  Here are some images from our weekend adventures.

 I love you, Joelly!  Happy Anniversary.
