Coan | Photography » blizzard http://archive.andreacoan.com Blog Wed, 01 Apr 2015 22:16:34 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.1.41 The Beautiful yet dangerous Blizzaster (Snow storm 2011) http://archive.andreacoan.com/?p=443 http://archive.andreacoan.com/?p=443#comments Thu, 03 Feb 2011 20:21:31 +0000 http://www.ap-imaging.com/blog/?p=443 This was one incredibly intense storm!  And on February 1st, a few hours before the snow storm hit Milwaukee my husband and I ventured to the Lake.  We witnessed some amazing waves, snow drifting, and felt 40MPH winds that seriously made my hands go numb.  Before I couldn’t use my finger anymore to hit the shutter I captured these photos.

I wish I had some photographs to share of the actual blizzard in action, but I stayed in doors. ;-)  But, Some of the best images I have seen online can be seen here.

A few days after the snow storm I went back to the Lake with Nick Cavalier to do some test shoots for a future video shoot that we will be doing for Brian Mackey. Here are some fun overly white snow shots that were taken today.
